Bio
I am a political theorist with interests in feminist theory, theories of structural injustice, critiques of capitalism, critical race theory, the social contract tradition, theories of oppression, domination, as well as political obligation and authority.
I am an Assistant Professor of Political Theory at the University of Victoria.
Previously, I was Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Toronto’s Centre for Ethics, a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Exzellenzcluster Normative Orders and at the Justitia Amplificata Centre for Advanced Studies at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt and Collegiate Assistant Professor and Harper-Schmidt Fellow in the Society of Fellows at the University of Chicago. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago.
My first book, Connected by Commitment. Oppression and Our Responsibility to Undermine It was published by Oxford University Press in 2017.
